Hello Savings!

Everyone loves a good deal but I LOVE a GREAT deal! I have been on maternity leave since September 2010 and since then my income has been cut significantly. Needless to say I like to save money wherever I can. I sign up on various different websites to get free stuff or coupons or really awesome deals. I thought I would pass on the good deals to you.
Now, although these are great sites and places to sign up, they are not necessarily available to everyone everywhere. For those people I suggest going to a search enginge and typing in deals, coupons, deal find, etc and the name of your city to see if there are any websites to sign up on.
1. Dealzies - only available in Calgary and some place called Chatham Kent.
2. Deal Find - available across various cities in Canada.
3. Groupon - available all over the US and Canada.
4. Canadian Free Stuff - obviously available in Canada only.
5. Wag Jag - only in Canada
6. one Spout - this is awesome. It's one site that allows you to see all the deals from all the sites listed above plus others. From there you can see a lot of the other deal websites and can sign up to the ones you want. When I checked out what locations there were to choose from I noticed cities in the UK and US... so check it out!
These sites are just a taste of what is out there. If you take the time and have the patience you can find tons of stuff! Please share what you find!

With all these websites you will be signing up on and receiving great deals my suggestion is to have a separate email set up just for this kind of stuff. That way your regular email does not get bundled up with all your great deals. Just to give you an idea of what I have seen on these sites - I recently paid $20 for a fit body boot camp to attend for one month as many times as I want! So I figure with all the baby fat I need to lose going 5x a week will be worth it in the end! So far so good!

Good luck on your hunt!!!

What the Molly?

If your name is Molly and you are reading this blog, first things first, it's not about you. (although we all do like to have it "all about us" now don't we)...

Molly is a state of mind or being. One is not born a 'Molly' but rather becomes one over time. we are not sure the origins of the term "Molly" but hear it frequently in certain circles. In these circles one is usually traditionally viewed as an active crafter and avid homemaker, caregiver and generally happy hostess. Again, traditionally but not solely.

Now these things are important and should not be disregarded or seen anything less.
Let's face it as much as all we fight it at times in our lives, we are all a little Molly and it is okay to be so.

We want to encourage a modern embrace on the term. We still enjoy the pleasures and benefits of these activities and want to incorporate them into the broader spectrum of our lives.  We want to contribute and engage all those modern Molly's.

Please note we are not here to come up with all the alternate ideas (some if we get inspired) but we will find and connect you to them.
